Job Description – ERP Team Lead (Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant)

Location: Tallahassee, FL (5 days onsite)

Duration: Long Term contract 

Looking for local or who can relocate to Florida 

FDLE is seeking an experienced ERP Team Lead / Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to support the Florida PALM Integration Project. The consultant will work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to support the transition from FLAIR/CMS systems to the new Florida PALM ERP platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle EBS R12 Finance functional expertise, business analysis experience, and the ability to lead ERP financial transformation activities including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, documentation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Oracle EBS Finance functional activities for ERP modernization projects.
• Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend ERP solutions.
• Work extensively with Oracle EBS Financial modules:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Subledger Accounting (SLA)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Fixed Assets (FA)
• Support Chart of Accounts (CoA) restructuring and financial process improvements.
• Create Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), BR100, MD50, test plans, and design documents.
• Coordinate integration touchpoints, field mappings, and Oracle APIs.
• Execute functional testing, UAT support, and defect management.
• Provide project status updates and assist with user training/documentation.
• Support go-live and post-production activities.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of Oracle EBS R12 Finance functional experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle Financial modules (GL, AR, SLA).
• Experience with Oracle AIM/OUM documentation methodology.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS tables, APIs, integrations, and SQL queries.
• Experience with requirements gathering, business analysis, testing, and documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading ERP finance implementation or migration projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AP, CM, and FA modules.
• Experience with public sector/government ERP projects.
• Knowledge of Florida PALM or FLAIR systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams
