Job Title – Java Front End Developer
Duration - 12 month contract
Location – Dallas, TX
Description:
The ideal candidate is a senior level web developer whose expertise is with front-end technologies, but who would also be comfortable working with Java, J2EE, and MVC frameworks (Struts 1, Spring, Stripes). As a member of the development team, you’ll collaborate with product designers to create a standards-compliant user experience. You’ll be part of a cross-functional project team that follows Agile methodologies and works across geographic boundaries. Travel industry experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Expert level HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (YUI, jQuery)
- Experience with an object oriented, server-side language and MVC frameworks
- Experience with cross-browser issues and web accessibility (Section 508, WCAG) is highly desirable
- Motivated to continually learn about the latest web technologies (HTML5, CSS3)
- Minimum of five years experience
