Position Summary
Qualifications and Experience
• Architect level experience with design and installation/configuration of BI solutions from inception through delivery required (SAP Business Object 3.x or later preferred)
• Deep experience with drivers required for BI connections to various data sources including Informix, Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, DB2, SAP BW, Hyperion Essbase, and Teradata required
• Strong experience with hardware and network performance tuning in support of Business Intelligence tools including Storage (SAN and NAS), Load Balancing, and Firewalls required
• Strong experience with both Windows and UNIX Operating Systems required
• Strong knowledge of HA/DR implementation of BI infrastructure required
• Experience with monitoring for preventative and corrective performance adjustments required
• Experience with Business Objects Webi and Universe Design preferred
• Knowledge of managing access rights to Business Objects using CMC preferred
• Experience with Business Objects SDKs preferred
• Experience tuning relational data sources for BI preferred
• SAP Business Objects 3.x experience required, 4.X experience a plus
• Apache HTTP Server and Tomcat Server config/tuning expertise a plus
• Experience with SAP Integration a plus
• Experience with Data Federation a plus
• QlikView experience a plus
• Ability to work well with individuals at all levels in the organization required
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and work on a team or individually
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, as needed, to get the job done
