Hiring Manager Required Skills:

• Building AI/ML models, products and tools
• Experience working with LLM and Generative AI, RAG Architecture
• Strong engineering skills, designing overall solution — MUST HAVE
• Engineer is optimizing the code that data scientist have written, so they are asking Data scientist to have the experience of optimizing the code
• Nice to have is Agentic AI
• Experience with AWS stack — Bedrock, Lambda, Kendra, Sagemaker — MUST HAVE

 

Job Description:

Identifies and solves complex business problems using statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis. Supports data science initiatives, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and helps drive AI/ML adoption across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data mining, extraction, and apply advanced algorithms to generate actionable insights.
• Analyze data quality, limitations, and apply findings to business solutions.
• Partner with business units to enhance organizational performance.
• Identify patterns and trends using data science tools and techniques.
• Translate business requirements into data science solutions and deliverables.
• Build, implement, and scale data products and models.
• Guide best practices and apply AI/ML techniques to achieve business goals.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science or related field.

 

Skills:

• Strong expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning.
• Advanced SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Experience in model evaluation, tuning, deployment, and scalability.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.
