Job Description:

We are looking for a Healthcare SDET with strong experience in test automation, EDI transactions, and payer systems. This role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across healthcare applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
• Validate EDI X12 transactions (837, 835) and healthcare workflows.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams.
• Conduct backend/database testing and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain test documentation and report results using defect tracking tools.
• Participate in design reviews and support overall software quality.
• Mentor junior testers and support team delivery.

 

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing/automation (SDET/QA).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience with Healthcare payer systems & claims processing.
• Hands-on experience with EDI/X12 (837, 835).
• Proficiency in Java/Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience with SQL/databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 

Preferred:

• HIPAA knowledge/certification.
• Experience with healthcare compliance and federal programs .
