Role: Technical Project Manager
Location: Arlington, VA 22203 – Need Local
NO H1B, OPT, CPT
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end delivery of technical projects across engineering and product teams
• Strong Project Management expertise
• Ability to influence and communicate at the VP+ level
• Define scope, milestones, dependencies, and delivery plans
• Drive execution cadence and remove delivery blockers
• Strong process / mechanism definition expertise
• Partner with engineering to discover and manage technical risks and dependencies
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
• Ultimately responsible for timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program / Project Manager
• Proven experience delivering complex software or platform initiatives
• Strong understanding of:
· Project management practices
· o Software development lifecycle (SDLC)
· o Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodologies
· o Distributed systems and modern application architectures
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear execution plans
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to AWS cloud environments (architecture, migrations, or cloud-native services)
• 3+ years of top tech (FAANG) company as a strong preference
Experience working closely with:
o Backend and frontend engineering teams
o Platform, infrastructure, or DevOps teams
• Familiarity with delivery and planning tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Experience in a contracting or consulting capacity
• PMP, CSM, or similar certifications (nice to have)
