My client is looking for SQL Server / SSIS Developer for 12 Month Contract role based in Parsippany, NJ (Onsite)

 

Position: SQL Server / SSIS Developer

Location:  Parsippany, NJ (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Month Contract

POSITION OVERVIEW : SQL Server / SSIS Developer

Experience with development of SQL/SSIS packages, stored procedures. An ability to work with complex SQL queries, debugging of issues.

 

POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :

Primary skill: SQL Server 2019/2022 and SSIS

Experience with development of SQL/SSIS packages, stored procedures. An ability to work with complex SQL queries, debugging of issues.

Knowledge of database structures, performance tuning, strong data analysis.

Experience with processing of large amounts of data. Understanding of XML data formats

Experience with DevOps/CICD pipeline

Ability to work independently and support other team members

 

Day-to-Day Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server 2019/2022 databases, SSIS packages, and ETL solutions.

• Develop, optimize, and support complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.

• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of data and performance-related issues.

• Analyze database structures and perform performance tuning, including indexing strategies and query optimization.

• Process and manage large volumes of data efficiently while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Work with and interpret XML data formats as part of data integration and transformation processes.

• Support and participate in DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for database and SSIS deployments.

• Work independently on assigned tasks while actively supporting and collaborating with team members.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in SQL Server development, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

• 3+ years of experience with SSIS development and ETL processes.

• 4+ years of experience in Strong expertise in database performance tuning, execution plan analysis, and data optimization.

• Solid understanding of data analysis and relational database design.

• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools, source control, and DevOps practices related to database or ETL deployments.

• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
