Job Description:
Software Development Engineer: Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. Most companies should be able to match to a specific software development engineer position. Use this position if company does not breakout software development positions such as Software Engineer (Applications) (5141-5146) or Software Engineer (Systems) (5161-5166). Survey Tip: If company does not identify software development engineers by functional designation described above, report to this Software Development Engineer (5101-5106) generic family.
Skills:
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
10+ years SAP ABAP development experience in 7.x Netweaver version
ABAP Knowledge in ABAP/4 programming language, User Exits, Start & End Routines in BW, query monitoring (RSRT) , SQL Trace (ST05) and Tuning & custom background programs
Knowledge of configuration of BW data objects including InfoObjects, InfoSources, Transformations, ODS, Cubes, Info Providers, and multi providers
Knowledge of BI extractors from the ECC system and working knowledge of SAP structures, object dependencies and tables in version ECC 6.0 environment.
Extensively worked on extractors for keys SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, PS and MM
Experience Developing SAP Solutions in a Software and / or Professional Services company.
Customer-centric and Service minded.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Ability to interact with all levels of business users (end-users/executives).
Highly motivated and driven, with keen attention to detail and the ability to multi task in a self-managed environment.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving abilities
Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
