Job Description:
The candidate will collaborate with Americas Commercial business partners to develop and deliver on our comprehensive analytics strategy from data acquisition through end-user, self-service analytics for our customers.
The candidate will understand and effectively capture business requirements, perform complex data analyses, create functional/technical documents, and facilitate development of analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Act as the primary contact for the commercial analytics team by establishing, maintaining, and developing relationships within the commercial business & commercial IT functions.
· Gather, understand, and document business flows, objectives, interdependencies, and requirements for highly complex projects.
· Be the connection between data architecture, data engineering and business teams.
· Own accountability for the delivery & implementation of commercial analytics solutions.
· Define and articulate business rules required for data accuracy and consistency. Apply business knowledge and rules to identify and resolve data quality issues.
· Define, build, and manage and test requirements from accurate analysis of project documentation, test cases and test data
· Work with a variety of IT & business stakeholders to achieve sign off, ensuring solutions delivered have met requirements through comprehensive test results
· Be a key contributor to a test-first development method to prove the correctness of data extraction from sources, transformation and load code for a data warehouse or application
· Train others as appropriate on specific area of business or systems expertise.
· Provide support to analysts in commercial & other functions by creating and providing training & information sessions as needed
Key Experiences & Attributes:
· Demonstrated customer-facing experience in a consulting or delivery capacity, preferably in the Medical Device or similar industry.
· Strong knowledge of business process flow and/or entity relationship modeling.
· Extensive experience in analytical roles (analysis, information science, data visualization and/or other relevant quantitative fields)
· Must be effective in a team and demonstrate leadership aptitude with strong problem solving, critical thinking skills, influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
· Self-starter with history of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
· Demonstrated outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively with other technology teams as well as business partners.
