JOB DESCRIPTION:

seeking a motivated professional to join the QRM Model Development and Engineering team for a project to design, build and deploy enterprise-wide service of Funds Transfer Pricing analysis.

The individual would join a team of other analysts, software engineers and process SME's to contribute to high value add project with strict timelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES: -

develop and test financial calculations and data movements behind the service - partner with technology members of the team to ensure the delivery of well-managed production-ready code - interact with users of the service and SME's to ensure both internal (Balancesheet management-driven) and external requirements are met .

Must have experience: - Advanced Python

Preferred experience: - financial modeling in python or general financial modeling - financial systems integration - AWS - Agile - Team projects

Position: SQL Data Analyst – With BI Tool and Scripting exp
Location: Mclean, VA
Duration: 6+ Months (with Possibility of extension)

Top Key Skills –
·         Automation/Automated is important
·         AWS or any other cloud
·         Python or any other similar coding language – Java/JavaScript/Angular or similar
·         Any BI Tools – Tableau/Qlikview/Business Objects/Micro strategy
·         Data background is must – Strong SQL

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Innovation

· Act as key data lead to leverage versatile technical capabilities to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data products, which enable self-service by data consumers

· Re-engineer data processes and migrate the processes from on-premises to Amazon Web Services

· Explore industry trends, tools, and techniques in Open Source/Big Data/Digital domain

Business Intelligence

· Execute and monitor data processes that deliver critical data to partners and regulators

· Develop prototypes and implement new business intelligence tools, solutions, and techniques

· Assist in development of standards and policies for business intelligence frameworks

Data Management

· Evaluate data management, data quality and data access processes for gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities; provide recommendations for improvement

· Implement solutions and processes for management and governance across data quality metrics, metadata, lineage, data access rights, and business definitions

· Develop data mapping to enable data end users to more easily transition to using new systems

Our ideal candidate will have:

· Degree specialized in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline

· Experience with Python, SQL, Unix/Linux, Databricks and Github

· Experience with Amazon Web Services products, such as EC2, S3, Redshift, and Snowflake

· Desire to learn about external companies (typically Fortune 500) that , partners with for co-brand and private label programs
