Location: Austin, TX (Onsite - hybrid)

Job Description:
- Responsibility for designing, developing, and managing APIs within the SAP API Management
- Knowledge of integration between various applications like on premise systems as SAP S/4 Hana and Non SAP systems.
- Expect to work closely with multiple project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- API Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and implement APIs using SAP API Management.
- Create REST and SOAP APIs to integrate between SAP and non-SAP systems.
API Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the entire API lifecycle, including creation, testing, deployment, debugging
- Ensure APIs are well-documented and best practices are followed for usability and security.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor API performance and usage metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement caching, and other optimization techniques to enhance API performance.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Certificate type authentication for APIs
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with development, operations, and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SAP API Management and SAP Integration Suite.
- Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Familiarity with security protocols (OAuth, SSL, SAML) and API management tools.
