Job summary:
We are seeking a CBC Consultant with 10 years of experience in IBM Infosphere Datastage for a hybrid work model.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions.
This role requires a deep understanding of data management and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Required Skills:
Certifications Required : IBM Certified Solution Developer - InfoSphere DataStage v11.3 or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data integration solutions using IBM Infosphere Datastage to meet business requirements
- Oversee the implementation of data integration projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Provide technical expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements
- Develop and maintain data models and data flow diagrams to support data integration efforts
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes
- Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues in a timely manner.
- Document data integration processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
- Provide training and support to junior team members on data integration best practices
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data integration technologies
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration processes and methodologies
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in data integration using IBM Infosphere Datastage.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Show proficiency in data modeling and data flow diagramming.
- Have a solid understanding of ETL processes and best practices
- Be experienced in troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues
- Be capable of optimizing ETL processes for performance and scalability
- Have experience in providing training and support to team members
- Be skilled in documenting technical processes and maintaining documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data integration technologies.
- Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
