அகத்தோடுரையாடல் - 11. எல்லாமுமாய்….

சீவவளர் தாவகமும் நோவுதுயர் மேவுடலும் சீவகனமும்

வாவிபுனல் பாவுகனல் நீவனிலம் பூவுலகு மாவெளியதும்

தேவியரும் தேவர்களும் மூவுலகும் யாவுமவன் தேவரமணன்

நாவிழையக் கூவியழை ஆவியனைக் கேவலியென் நாவியகமே

பதம்பிரித்த வடிவம்:

சீவவளர் தாவகமும் நோவுதுயர் மேவுடலும் சீவகனமும்

வாவிபுனல் பாவுகனல் நீவனிலம் பூவுலகு மாவெளியதும்

தேவியரும் தேவர்களும் மூவுலகும் யாவுமவன் தேவரமணன்

நாவிழையக் கூவியழை ஆவியனைக் கேவலியென் நாவியகமே

பொருள்: திரும்பச் திரும்பச் சீவிட வளரும், ஒன்றிலிருந்து ஒன்றின் மேல் தாவும் அகங்காரமும், நோயும் துயரும் மேவும் உடலும், சீவனாய் வாழும் வாழ்வின் கனமும், ஐம்பூதங்களான வாவி புனலும், பரவும் கனலும், நீவும் காற்றும், பூவுலகும், மாவிரிவாய்ப் பரந்த வெளியும், தேவியர், தேவர்களும், மூவுலகும் என யாவுமாய் விளங்குபவன் நம் தேவ ரமணனே. ஆவியாய் விளங்கும் பூரண அறிவுவடிவான ஏகனான அவனே இந்த சீவக்கடலைக் கடக்கும் ஓடமாவான், ஆகையால் நாவில் அவன் நாமம் இழையக் கூவியழைப்பாய், எனது அகமே!

[சீவுதல் - slice or cut வாவி - Water body பாவுதல் -  to spread நீவுதல் - to caress அனிலம் - Wind ஆவியன் - Self கேவலி - Person with ultimate perfect final knowledge நாவி - Ship or boat ]

Who is Deva Ramana? He is the ego that grows further and further as one tries to cut it. He is the body that hosts pain and disease. He is the weight of the individual soul, Jiva.  He is the five elements of water, fire, air, earth and the vast space. He is all the demi-gods, demi-goddesses. From him springs forth these three worlds. This Self who is everything that we perceive and beyond is our Deva Ramana. Weaving His name with the tongue, call His name, call the Self, call our guru who is the ultimate perfect final knowledge, as he is the boat that will take you there (to Self), Oh my heart!
