அலைமுகில்கள் வான்கடலில் நுரைதெளிக்கும் பருவம்
அழகுமகள் இயற்கையிலே கடைதிறக்கும் பருவம்
குலைபெருகிக் கனிவெடித்துத் தேன்சிதறும் பருவம்
குயில்கிளிகள் கொஞ்சுதமிழ்ப் பண்ணிசைக்கும் பருவம்
கலைப்பெருக்கும் கவின்பெருக்கும் கவிதைபொழி பருவம்
காதலெனும் காவியத்தை கண்மொழியும் பருவம்
இலைதுளிர்க்கும் பூவிரிக்கும் மரம்தழைக்கும் பருவம்
எழில்சிரிக்கும் மணம்நிறைக்கும் இளவேனிற் பருவம்
- தில்லைவேந்தன்.
