பொங்கல் வாழ்த்து

ஏருழவர் எல்லோரும் இன்புற்று வாழ்ந்திருக்கப்

பாருள்ள

இல்லார் பசிநீங்க-வேரான

செந்நெல் 

தழைத்தோங்கச் சேர்ந்தொன்றாய்ப் பொங்கலினை

இந்நாளில் வைப்போம் இனிது!

காளைகள் 

மேழிக் களம்காணப் பெண்டிரொடு

காளையரும் 

நன்செய்யில் கால்பதித்து -

வேளைதொறும்

நன்றுபசி தீர்ப்பார்க்கு நன்றிசொலிப் பொங்கலினை

இன்றுநாம் வைப்போம் இனிது!

"உழுதுண்டு வாழ்வாரே வாழ்வார்மற்(று) எல்லாம்

தொழுதுண்டு பின்செல் பவர்"- பழுதாக்கும்

இந்நாள் விரைவுணவை இன்றுவிட்டுப் பொங்கலினை
