.. கேட்ப(து) ஓய்வதில்லை

 

ஓட்டுக் குடிலின் ஓட்டை கண்ணை

.. உறுத்தல் தெரிந்தபின்னும்

 

வீட்டை விட்டு வெளியே வரவோர்

.. வழியும் தெரிவதில்லை.

 

மீட்டும் மீட்டும் வலையில் சிக்கும்

.. மீனாய் இருப்பதிலே

 

நாட்டம் இருக்கும் வரையில் எந்த

.. நாளும் போராட்டம்

 

பாட்டுள் பொருளாம் பொருளுள் பயனாம்

.. பரமன் நம்முள்ளக்

 

கூட்டில் சிக்க வைத்தால் போதும்

.. கிடைக்கும் விடுதலையே!

OK. It is unusual.

I have seen 6- or 8-line songs (in thiruvAsagam). But not familiar with any songs of 5 or 7 lines.

Please share if any.

>> ஏழடிக் கவிதையை எழுதுகையில் உதித்த உணர்வைத் தெரிவிக்க ஏழடிகள் பொருத்தமாகப் பட்டதால் அது ஒரு புது முயற்சியாக இருக்கட்டும் என்றெண்ணி அவ்வாறிட்டேன். அன்பர்கள் சுட்டியபடி, அதை எட்டடி விருத்தமாக மாற்றிய வடிவம்:
