சில சொற்கள் நீண்டு ஒலிக்கிறபோதும் சில குறுகி ஒலிக்கிறபோதும் ஏற்படுகிற பொருள் மாறு மாட்டை எண்ணிப்பார்த்தேன்.

இதோ ஒரு சில

ஏழு- எழு- குறுகினாலும் எழுச்சியைக் கொடுக்கிறது

வீண்- விண்- குறுகினால் உயரம் காண்கிறது

சில தொழிற்பெயர்கள் குறுகினால் அத்தொழிலைச் செய்யும் உறுப்புகளைக் குறிக்கின்றன

காண்- கண்

இது மாறியும் வரும்

பாண்- பாடுபவன் குறுகினால் பண் ஆகிவிடுகிறது

செவியை நன்கு பயன்படுத்துபவன் உயர்வான். அவன்”சேவி’க்கப்படுவான்

தீயில் அவி சொரிந்தால் அது ஆவி யாகிவிடும்

இப்பொழுதெல்லாம் மனைவியைப்பார்த்துப் போடி என்று சொல்லிப்பாருங்களேன். நீங்கள் பொடி யாகிவிடுவீர்கள்.

இப்படி எத்தனையோ?
