Tamil Font conversion to Unicode on the fly:

I have not tried this but others may have experience with it:

'adhiyan' - an add-on for Firefox : http://adhiyan.mozdev.org/

"Adhiyan is a Firefox/Thunder Bird extension using which you can convert and read websites and emails with various Tamil encodings like TAB/TAM/TSCII/TUNE to Unicode. This way you can read the content without installing the required fonts."

மிக எளிதான எழுத்துரு மாற்றி  NHM converter . தமிழில் எழுத சுலபமானது NHM Writer  இரண்டையும் www.nhm.in/software தளத்திலிருந்து பெறலாம். NHM converter requires installation of dot net 2 .
