பாடல்கள் நன்றாக இருக்கின்றன.  வெண்பா இலக்கணப்படி அமைந்தாலும் அதற்கென்று ஒரு தனியழகு இருக்கிறது. பொழிப்பு மோனை அமைந்தால் இன்னும் சிறப்பாக இருக்கும்..   

நன்று பிறப்பித்தத் தாய்தந்தத ஞானத்ததப்
பொன்றா திருத்திட்ட சீர்குரு - என்றுமுந்தன்-  என்றுமுன்றன்
நன்மையே கண்ணிட்ட நல்லார் எனக்கண்டு
நன்றிக் கடன்செய் நயந்து!
