அவையோர்க்கு வணக்கம்! 

சமீபகாலமாக ‘கோளறு பதிகம் - விளக்கவுரை’ என்னும் தலைப்பில் கோளறு பதிகத்திற்கு விரிவுரை ஒன்றை எழுதி வருகிறேன். அந்தப் புத்தகத்தை இந்தப் பிரதோஷச் சிறப்பு நன்னாளில் சந்தவசந்தச் சான்றோருடன் பணிவன்புடன்  பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள விரும்புகிறேன்.

“வாண்மதி வன்னி கொன்றை” என்று வரும் அடியில்
வாண்மதி என்னும் சொல்  “வாள் + மதி = ஒளிபொருந்திய மதி “ என்னும் பொருளில் வந்துள்ளதாகத் தெரிகிறது.

உண்மை!  நீங்கள் ' வாள்மதி' என்று விளக்கத்தில்  அருஞ்சொற்பொருளில் எழுதியிருப்பதை ' வான்மதி' என்று படித்திவிட்டேன்.  கண்ணாடி போடாமல் படித்ததன் விளைவு.  மேலும் மேலும் எழுதவும். 🙏🏻

Read the first few pages.
I can imagine the amount of research and effort you have put into it. 

Consider updating the document to include a footer with page number. In case anyone prints it for a hard copy - that will help.

Page-10: Nice quotes.
Page-14: It will be good if you show the verse as a 4 line verse - with indentation when a verse line wraps to the next line on the page.
Page-95: I think you should put your name below the song heading title - so that the reader will know easily that it is your song. (You mention it in the opening section of the book - but the reader may not remember).
Page-108: Did you not refer to dharmapuram adheenam book urai? (Physical books - or the online version at http://www.thevaaram.org/ta/index.php ). Just curious.


Some minor typos that I noticed:

Page-6: ஏழ்மை - should be ஏழைமை.
Page-7: உணரும்படிச் செய்யவேண்டும் - I think the vallotRu ச் should not be added here.

Thank you, Thiru. Siva Siva, for a detailed review and very helpful suggestions.

I will incorporate the changes recommended and will also try to scan the document for any other changes needed. 

I did not know of a urai by Dharmapuram Adheenam, so I did not get a chance to reference it. Thank you for the link to the online version of the urai!

மிகவும் பயனுள்ள பணி. பல புதிய செய்திகள், விளக்கங்கள் கொண்ட விரிவுரை.🙏பதிகத்தை படிக்கையில் இறைவன் திருவுருவை மனத்தில் இருத்திப் படிக்கவும் என்றது சிறப்பு. அதற்கு உங்கள் நூல் துணைசெய்யும். (நூலை முழுமையாக இன்னும் படிக்கவில்லை.)

‘கோளறு பதிகம் - விளக்கவுரை’ என்னும் இந்நூல் இப்போது குவிகம் பதிப்பகத்தாரால் அச்சிடப்பட்டுப் புத்தக வடிவில் திகழ்கிறது என்னும் செய்தியைப் பெருமகிழ்வுடன் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ள விரும்புகிறேன். 

குவிகம் பதிப்பகத்தாரை எனக்கு அறிமுகப்படுத்திய திரு.தில்லைவேந்தன் அவர்களுக்கு எனது நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன். 

மேலும் இந்நூலின் PDF-ஐப் படித்துக் கருத்துரைத்துத் தமது அகங்கனிந்த வாழ்த்துரையும் நல்கி என்பால் பேரன்பு காட்டிய சிவசூரியாருக்கும் என் மனமார்ந்த நன்றியை அளிக்கின்றேன்.

சிவசூரியார் இந்நூலுக்கு அளித்த வாழ்த்துரை:

திருஞான சம்பந்தர் அவர்கள் அருளியுள்ள "கோளறு பதிகம்" என்னும் ஓர் ஒப்பற்றபதிகத்துக்கு அன்பர் கவிஞர் இமயவரம்பன் விரிவாகவும் அழகாகவும் ஒர் உரைவழங்கி யுள்ளார். கண்ணுக்கு அஞ்சனம் தீட்டிக் கொள்வதுபோல் அளவாகவும் செப்பமுடனும் செய்யப் பட்டுள்ளது இவ்வுரை. 

இமயவரம்பன் அவர்கள் ஒரு சிறந்த கவிஞர், மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளரும் கூட. ஆகையால் இந்தப் பதிகத்தை அணுஅணுவாகச் சுவைத்து நாமும் சுவைத்து மகிழும்படி இந்த உரையை வழங்கியுள்ளார். பாமர மக்களுக்கும் கூட இது மிகவும் பயனுள்ளதாக இருக்கும் என்பதில் சற்றும் ஐயம் இல்லை.

நான் பள்ளியில் படித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த காலத்தில் ஒரு சமயம் அஷ்ட கிரகச்சேர்க்கை ஏற்பட்டது. உலகம் என்னாகுமோ என்று பெரும்பாலோர் அஞ்சினர். அப்போது காஞ்சி மகா ஸ்வாமி அவர்கள் மக்களை இந்த பதிகத்தை நாளும் ஓதுமாறு அருளாணை பிறப்பித்தார். அவ்வாறே பக்தர்கள் இப்பதிகத்தைத் தவறாமல் ஓதிவந்தனர். அதன் பயனாக எந்தவித இடரும் இன்றி உலகம் பிழைத்தது. 

நம் திருநாடு விடுதலை அடைந்த சமயம் ஆட்சியை முறைப்படி நம்மிடம் எவ்வாறு ஒப்படைக்க வேண்டும் என்று மவுண்ட பேட்டன் பிரபு வினவியபோது அச்சமயம் கவர்னர் ஜெனரல் ஆக இருந்த மூதறிஞர் இராஜாஜி அவர்கள் திருவாவடுதுறை ஆதினத்துடன் தொடர்பு கொண்டார். ஆதின குருமுதலவர் செங்கோல் ஒன்றை வழங்கி முறைப்படி ஆட்சி மாற்றத்தை நம் திருநாட்டின் பண்டைய முறையைப் பின்பற்றிச் செய்யலாம் என்று சொன்னார். அரசாங்கமும் அவ்வாறே செய்யும் பொழுது திருவாவடுதுறை ஆதினத் தம்பிரான் சுவாமிகளும் ஓதுவா மூர்த்தி ஒருவரும் கோளறு பதிகத்தை ஓதியும் நம் தமிழ்த்திருநாட்டின் மங்கல இசைதரும் நாதஸ்வர இசைக்கலைஞர் அதை வாசித்தும் ஆட்சி மாற்றம் நிகழ்ந்தது என்பர். அத்தகு புகழ்பெற்ற இந்த திருப்பதிகத்துக்கு நல்லுரை வழங்கியுள்ள அன்பர் இமயவரம்பன் நம்முடைய பாராட்டுக்கு உரியவர்.

ஒவ்வொரு பாடலையும் படிப்பவர்கள் எளிதில் புரிந்து கொள்ளும்படி அழகாகப் பிரித்து எழுதி இருப்பதைக் கட்டாயம் குறிப்பிட வேண்டும். பாடல்களில் வரும் சொற்களுக்கு இவர் விளக்கமாகப் பொருள் வழங்கி இருப்பது பாராட்டத் தக்கது. இவருடைய உரையில் கருத்துரையும் பாடல் விளக்கமும் ஒருசேரக் கொடுத்துள்ளது பெருந்தொண்டே. எந்த நூலுக்கும் இவ்வளவு விளக்கமான உரையை இதுவரையில் நான் படித்ததில்லை.

அருணகிரி நாதர் அவர்கள் சம்பந்தப் பெருமானை முருகனுடைய திருவவதாரமாகவே குறிப்பிட்டுள்ளதையும் எடுத்துக் காட்டியுள்ளார்.

இசைவேந்தராகிய சம்பந்தப் பெருமான் இப்பதிகத்தைப் பாட 'பியந்தைக் காந்தாரம்' அல்லது 'காந்தாரம்' என்னும் பண்ணைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துள்ளதை அழகாக எடுத்துக் காட்டியுள்ளார். பஞ்சமரபு என்னும் நூலில் இந்தப் பண் காலையில் பாடத் தகுந்த எட்டு மங்கலப் பண்களில் ஒன்று என்னும் செய்தியைப் பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். இந்தப் பண்ணில் பாடினால் அந்த இடத்தில் மங்கலம் பெருகி ஓங்கும் என்று விரிவாகக் கூறியுள்ளார். இப்படியாக இயற்றியுள்ள இந்த நூல் ஓர் உயர்ந்த ஆய்வு நூலாகவே திகழ்கிறது. இந்த நூலைப் படிக்கக் கிடைத்த வாய்ப்பை என்னுடைய பாக்கியமாகக் கருதுகிறேன். இது மீண்டும் மீண்டும் படித்துப் பயனடைய வேண்டிய ஓர் உயர்ந்த நூல். இவருடைய சீரிய பணி தொடர்ந்து வெற்றி பெற எல்லாம் வல்ல இறைவனை இறைஞ்சுகிறேன்.
