Tamil text OCR - Windows 11 - Snipping tool

This maybe the best option for Tamil OCR on a windows computer:

I realized the Snipping Tool that comes with Windows 11 has OCR capabilities.

Steps:

1) Use the Snipping Tool to snip an area of the displayed PDF file.

2) In the Snipping Tool, click the "Take Actions" button  - in the middle of the top row of the screen

3) Click - "Copy all text"

  (Now, the text is in Windows clipboard).  

4) Go to your MS-Word (or LibreOccie) - and paste into a blank document (or any document where you want this text).

Repeat the above process as many times as needed - to get all the text in your PDF file.

Notes:

1) In the original PDF file on screen display - If the display zoom factor is lower than some level (when using the snipping tool for area to copy), then resulting OCR accuracy will be bad.

2) I noticed one line - "3)" was in a different place than where it should have been. (So that converted text may need some proofreading).

3) Text formatting will be lost - Bolding, etc.

4) All the line breaks appear as soft line breaks (instead of hard line breaks / paragraph breaks) in the pasted text in LibreOffice.
