Only when you discuss what you think you know, you discover what you do know. Clarity takes place only when you begin to part with the knowledge you have, sharing it with another person. Any vagueness becomes very evident. The sharing of knowledge can also be mutual in a discussion among seekers. Both are part of brahmābhyāsa , the sādhana for knowing Brahman, yourself. There is no other sādhana . It is not something that is going to emerge at some time in the heat of meditation. The self is yourself. It is never hidden at any time. The only thing that covers it is ignorance. Therefore, listen and reflect on what you have understood by sharing it with others and in discussion among seekers.

रुचीनां वैचित्र्या दजुकुटिलनानापथजुषां
नृणामेको गम्य स्त्वमसि पयसामर्णव इव ॥७॥
People follow different paths, straight or crooked, according to their temperament, depending on which they consider best, or most appropriate–and reach You alone just as rivers enter the ocean.
இரு சிந்தனைகளின் இணைப்பு:
தயானந்த சரஸ்வதி அவர்கள் கூறியது: அறிவைப் பகிர்ந்து விவாதிப்பதன் மூலமே (பிரம்மாப்யாசம்) அறியாமை நீங்கி, தன்னை அறியும் தெளிவு பிறக்கும். இது தியானத்தில் தானாக வராது; பகிர்வே முக்கிய சாதனை.
விவேகானந்தர் காட்டிய சிவமகிம்னஸ்தோத்ரம் (7-வது சுலோகம்): மக்கள் தங்கள் இயல்புக்கு ஏற்ப நேரானவை, வளைந்தவை எனப் பல பாதைகளில் சென்றாலும், அனைத்தும் ஒரே இலக்கான பரம்பொருளை (கடல்) அடையும் — ஆறுகள் கடலில் கலப்பது போல.
இரண்டையும் இணைத்து:
பல்வேறு பாதைகளில் செல்லும் தேடலாளர்கள், ஒருவருடன் ஒருவர் அறிவைப் பகிர்ந்து விவாதிக்கும்போது அறியாமை நீங்கி, தன்னுணர்வு தோன்றும். இறுதியில் அனைத்துப் பாதைகளும் ஒரே பரம்பொருளில் (பிரம்மத்தில்) கலந்துவிடும்.

பலவிகற்பப் பஃறொடை வெண்பா
கற்ற அறிவைக் கருத்தாய்ப் பகிர்கையில்
உற்ற அறியாமை ஓட்டிடுவோம்., - நற்றவத்தின்
தன்னிலையைத் தான்தேடல் வாராத் தியானத்தில்.,
பன்னும் பகிர்வே பயனென்க., - சொன்னவணம்
ஆறுகள் பல்வேறாய் ஆங்காங்குச் சென்றாலும்
மாறா தடையுமே வாரிதியில்.,
- ஈறில்லா
நேரான பாதை, நெளியும் வழியெனினும்
சீராய்ப் பரத்தினில் சேர்ப்பு.
