இன்று தை ஹஸ்தம். ஸ்ரீமாந் கூரத்தாழ்வான் திருநக்ஷத்ரம். அம்மகானின் பாதத்தில் இவ்விரண்டு அறுசீர் ஆசிரியப்பாவையிட்டு வணங்குகிறேன் .

கூரந் தனிலே குடியமரும்
                 கூரத் தாழ்வான் பதமதையே
ஆரத் தழுவி அகந்தையற
                அழுகண் ணீரில் நனைப்பதுவே
தீர மனதைத் தெளிவாக்கித்
                  திறமாய்க் குருவின் பதம்சேர்க்கும்
கோரக் கலியின் கொடுமையறக்
                   குருவை யரணாய்க் கொள்வோமே


மடியில் கனமே இல்லாதான்
                 மனமும் வாக்கும் செயலொன்றான்
விடியும் வாழ்வாய் விழிதந்தான்
                  வணங்கும் துறையை வாழ்வித்தான்
நொடியும் அடிமை நிலைமாறான்
                    நலமே பகைக்கும் நாடிடுவான்
முடியும் வஞ்ச முக்குறும்பும்
                    முன்வை அவன்தாள் முடியதிலே
