To my (admittedly minimal) knowledge - gained solely from a study of Sri Rajagopalachariar's "ilakkaNa viLakkam" - there is no oRRu here, because it is an ezhuvAyth thodar, to wit, 1st vERRumaith thokai. I checked the text again, and, as far as I can tell, this case is not among the exceptional ones where an oRRu is mandated in an ezhuvaayth thodar.

தாராமல் - குறுக்கல்விகாரம் பெற்றதா?

I am afraid that even this thought did not occur to me!  I simply wrote the word that we use in common day-to-day language.  The following alternative uses the long form:

இரானிரங்கித் தாராமல் இன்னருள் 

/ என்றுகுலத்து இந்து /

Interesting phrase.

Thank you. Though the specific wording is mine, the idea is not.  For example, one of Sri Muthuswami Diksithar's compositions begins with such a description of Sri Rama: "sree rAmam, inakulAbdi sOmam".  Indeed I have employed this phrase before - albeit with a different set of words - in a verse that was posted here ages ago.
