Here is the inside scoop: 2012 will be held in Eugene, timing will be late
July/early August. Since it is not on their calendar quite yet, I will lobby
for an Early August date to keep High Sierra open for us and the SoCal boats.
If I recall the last hosting in Eugene was the weekend right after High Sierra
and none of fleet 12 made the trip to Huntington. Eugene will look at holding
the champs during the week after they hold the One Design Regatta, so you can
pack in a fair number of races for the haul up there.
