Hi Everyone,

I contacted Steven Leungsikul at Culver City Parks and Recreation,
because they hold both child and adult classes in all kinds of areas
for the community. He sent me a form for proposing a new class, and
it looks like we might be able to have an arrangement where we teach a
class in exchange for a woodworking space. We just need to figure out
the details of a class..

I would attach the form here, but I have no idea how to.... Anyone
know how to do that? Otherwise, I can just email it.

Thanks,
Nick

This is great, Nick! I've added a new section called "Files," where
you should be able to upload this thing. We can teach a basic
woodworking class where people can build a box. Once they graduate
from that program, they can join our group and build whatever they
want. Just a suggestion.

The "files" section is on the upper right of this page. Right under
"Home," "Discussions," "Members," then "Files."

I just uploaded the file, so check it out and let's see what we can
do.

I'm working on the proposal for this, but the proposal will change
depending on whether or not there is already a woodshop available for
use (i.e., if there's a woodshop already available for use by the
Culver City Rec Dept, then our budget will only include wood and
maintenance costs; however, if no space is available, then I'd have to
budget in all the power tools and space).

Any thoughts?
