Monthly swing dance at Oddfellows

Hi folks -- based on feedback from dancers I've talked to at various dances, I'm going to re-focus this e-mail to announce the one-a-month swing dances at Oddfellows rather than sending it out weekly.  I'll send an e-mail out periodically if there's a special event you should know about.

 

So, here's what's coming up:

 

Saturday 9/5: Monthly Oddfellows swing dance
Oddfellows Hall (see below for address). Beginner Lesson 8-9pm with Mike Garcia, Dance 9-late, $5 ($3 for students)
Mike Garcia will be DJ'ing the next monthly swing dance.  His drop-in beginner lesson is a great way to get your friends started with swing dancing for the first time.

Ongoing events and classes:

 
Sundays: Beginner and Int. Progressive Swing classes with Mike Garcia!
All classes at Dance Station: 901 W Alameda St # 20, (505) 989-9788

4-week progressive classes, basic and intermediate swing classes.  These start the first Sunday of each month.
6 - 7pm: Beginner swing (jitterbug, charleston, etc).  4 sundays for $48.
7 - 8pm: Intermediate swing / lindy hop.  4 sundays for $48

Mondays: Monday Night Swing
Oddfellows Hall: $8 lesson & dance ($5 for students) / $3 dance only
This is a great place to bring new people to take Mike's drop-in beginner swing class.  The beginner lesson is from 7-8pm, with the dance from 8-10pm.
