Anyone?
I have Adobe Lightroom 3 and purchased upgrade to version 6. Now when trying to open any Adobe programs, (CS6) that I have had for many years, under various and sundry registration, all are subject to sign in associated with the Adobe v6.  Anyone have this problem?  How can I bypass the sign in and retain my software?

Thanks!
Chris D. :)

Hi Chris,

I believe Adobe has moved all of it's software to a service model and everything is now part of Creative Cloud. I feel Adobe did a very poor job helping users migrate, understand and cope with these changes. I ran into the same problem myself, as I have used many different email addresses in the 20 or so years I have been using Adobe software. I had to get on the phone with their support to clear up a similar problem myself, which did work, after the requisite annoying time on hold.

I am sorry not to be of more help. Good luck.

You should be able to open the files from your older (licensed) software. So open your registered software , old photoshop for example, and from it's file menus open the file you want to view. This should work.

Would you not be able to choose "open with" and then "always" so from that point forward you can just open the desired app from double clicking the file in question?

Good luck
