Need a super nice desk for your office or study? Last minute chance to possess a really beautiful, lovingly-restored, Oak desk. Whenever I sit down at this desk, the (really large) solid wood work surface just makes me want to write.

The left panel contains an old-fashioned spring-loaded hideaway typewriter platform, perfect for storing your laptop or collection of exotic handcrafted gin, whatever.

I absolutely don't want to part with it, but the person storing it is moving out of town, and, alas, I have nowhere to store it at the moment.

The only caveat is that it needs to be removed from a house (near the Safeway at Morrisey and Soquel) by Thursday noon or so.
(So you'd need a pickup truck and some strong arms.)

Price completely open.....

Best,

-greg-

I live at 227 Morrissey, just a couple of blocks away. Looks great. $100?

Hi Chris,

My wife saw the identical desk for $800 at an antique store. I don't expect to get near that amount, but something closer to its value.

Thanks,

I have no idea of its value in an antique store and you did say the price was open. Anyway, if you can't find another taker, I'm just up the road. How about calling an antique store? You would probably get a better price and they would be able to remove it easily as well.

best  /Chris
