Do you know of any places in Santa Cruz offering classes in joinery, or a community/membership-based wood shop? I've taken a couple classes at TechShop in San Jose, but the trip over the hill is becoming prohibitive when it comes to doing actual project work (and my apartment just won't accommodate a workshop). From my initial research, AFAICT there are no wood shop classes at Cabrillo, and the UC's facilities appear to be for art majors only. If you know that's incorrect, please let me know; more generally, I'd appreciate any good info on other local facilities.
Thanks,
Jordan
