Bike to Work Day in Solvang - May 23rd

Hello Everyone!

 

Next Wednesday, May 23rd Solvang Park & Rec and Dr. Js Bicycle Shop will be hosting a local Bike-to-Work day at Solvang Park from 7:30am to 8:30am. Fred Lageman of the Park & Rec dept will have a table setup with information on communiting to work/school and bike safety; as well as Paul Smith from the "Trips for Kids" program.

 

Dr. Js will be on site for basic mechanical assistance. We will have coffee, breakfast treats and energy bars from Platinum Performance. Carmichael Training Systems will also be on-hand with information about their cycling training programs/camps.

 

Please stop by and help promote alternative transportation in the Santa Ynez Valley. We will be setup next to the WWII mememorial on the corner of Mission/First Street. Look for the blue Dr. Js tent.
