Welcome to the Santa Monica Go Club mailing list. I suggest you read carefully the information at the bottom of the page of each email at least once, because it has useful information. For example, there is a web interface that you can use to customize the way the mailing list works for YOU. You can use this to choose between four options for mail delivery. 1. No mail at all, just read your msgs on the web., or 2. Receive every msg as soon as it is sent. This is the default I set for all new members, because they typically want to get the announcements., or 3. Get a digest of up to 25 msgs at a time. This would be useful if we ever get so many msgs that it would clog our inboxes, or if you were taking a long vacation or be away for a while; of, 4. Get a daily digest of msgs.
Whichever, you can use the web interface to change your selection whenever you want.
