Thanks & Regards Raj R...@vayuvision.com 330-754-1217 X 109 "Job Description: • Developing object oriented, flexible, scalable and extensible Java components; • Defining technical requirements through interviews with business analysts; • Developing prototypes and/or functional/technical specs to meet business needs; • Coding and testing software changes in accordance with department and generally accepted standards; • Actively engaging in team based solution, design, and problem solving activities; • Actively proposing and implementing continuous improvements to applications and processes; • Working in an independent fashion as a member of a larger team on tasks to meet required deadlines; • Developing test plans/scripts and coordinating unit/integration testing with business teams; • Interacting with QA team on functional design, test plans, defect and change control; • Maintaining required documentation including Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation; • Providing user and production operational support as required for systems under the department’s responsibility. • Perform other duties as assigned or requested. • Adhere to the Bank's attendance policies through regular and prompt attendance. Job Specifications: • Bachelor's degree • 1 + years of related work experience • Basic Analytical Skills • Knowledge of complex and diversified procedures, practices, and policies • Proficiency with complex business machines (computers, etc. • Knowledge of complex procedures and practices of a specific function • Ability to perform involved, independent research and creative work • Thorough understanding of a scientific discipline (for example, economics, management, computer science) Complexity of Challenges: Requires following vaguely defined procedures. Decisions are consistently made within reason and affect the work group or department. Problem Solving Skills: Individual innovation: Requires working on projects individually rather than as part of a group, motivating self rather than taking direction from someone else. Logical analysis: Requires thinking through and solving problems step by step, often looking beyond the obvious solution to a problem and digging deeper for the best solution. Additional Job Specifications: The following job specifications are required: • 1+ year of java classes from accredited college including experience with SQL • Strong verbal and written communications; • Understanding of software development life-cycle and industry best practices; • Understanding of JEE concepts, OO design and development; • Knowledge of design patterns and frameworks; • Customer focused; • Strong time management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task; • Exhibit strong self-motivation and discipline The following job specifications are desired: • Masters Degree, Computer Science; • Experience with Rational Team Concert or equivalent change control tool" |
