braahman, brahman (n.), brahman (m.)

I am confused on what Sanskrit nouns are referred to in the English in
Exercise IX, questions 4 and 6.

In question 4, the English word 'brahman' is used but this English
word is never shown in Sanskrit in our text. I'm assuming the Sanskrit
and English are the same. And hence we can take either brahman (n.),
brahman (m.) and I think the masculine noun makes more sense. So that
is what I will use in the homework


In question 6, the English word 'braahman' is used
There is an English word braahman on p.19 whose Sanskrit is brahmaNa

Terrence, use the word on page 19, left-hand column. This word, 'braahmaNa',
refers to a priest or teacher. In both Indian and many other societies
worldwide the priest and teacher were one and the same.

Note: historically some English writers spelled the word 'brahmin'. You have
probably seen that spelling too.
