You are enrolled in HUC 5003 - Basic Sanskrit for the Summer Semester.
The
instructor for the class is Dr. von Wurttemberg. He can be reached at

shortly.
There are PC/software requirements that are necessary for learning the
Devanagari script. Here are instructions from Dr. von Wurttemberg:
1. Order Tyberg's
book before beginning the course.
Textbook: First Lessons in
Sanskrit Grammar and Reading by
Judith Tyberg
Please purchase this text from
www.amazon.com or another
vendor or your choice.
2.
Have a Windows PC running WindowsXP
or Vista.
3.
Have MS Word 2003 or 2007.
He will also give some alternate website materials to learn the script.
The Summer Semester starts on July 7 and goes until September 19, 2008.

The last partial lesson that I received from you is Lesson 03c (Remember to label अभ्यासास् as Lesson 03a, Lesson 03b as I require in the syllabus). I returned it on 20.08.2008. If you have completed the last part of Lesson 03 (viz. Lesson 03d), then please send it.

O.K., one page especially in the beginning lessons is only a suggestion. Let’s be flexible; later a couple of pages at a time is just fine.
