Dear Professor:

(1) why did you decide to learn Sanskrit
(2) What benefit have you derived from learning Sanskrit?
(3) Is Classical Sanskrit degenerate and less spiritually potent than
Ancient Sanskrit? As a related question, do you see some
inconsistencies in Classical Sanskrit? Some places where it is in need
of improvement? Personally, I understand there are 42 possible
conjugations of a verb. This seems overly complex. But then again, I
am not a celestial being and this is the language of celestial beings.
(4) Given that you speak several languages, how do you look at
Sanskrit in relation to the other languages? For me, no other language
is written in Devanaagarii. So perhaps this language is a gateway to
perfect unshakeable truth (as our book cover says)? I have Tyberg's
other book "Language of the Gods" and she clearly thinks highly of
what Classical Sanskrit can offer.
(5) What are the 5 most likely languages to be considered 'oldest
language on Earth'? If I had to guess, I would place Hebrew among
them. But other than that, I have no idea.

I will have some choices to make after this course. Either to go
deeper into Sanskrit study or to continue coursework in English at
IVHU. So I'm asking these questions partly to help me decide on
further study and partly out of curiosity.

I certainly like Sanskrit and if I had to choose a second language,
I'd be happy for this to be it.
