Dear Siddharth sir,
I am a newbie sanskrit student. I gathered a lot of information from
your email. I immensely thank you.
Could you give some more details on Aindara school of grammar?
और...
Thanks for sharing this information. I am much obliged.
After asking you, i kept searching on the details of Aindara vyakaran
in internet and came across this book.
Its freely downloadable in PDF/DjVu format.
http://www.archive.org/details/onaindraschools00burngoog
I am yet to read this book. At this point, I haven't even got my basic
sanskrit right, so I sigh myself it would take decades for me to
understand these things anyway.
Wish you wonderful Sankranti divas.
Srikanth.

Thanks for the pointer to the book and the delay in response is
attributed to that book only. I have been through this book and what
all i could conclude is that the author wanted to prove that Aindra
Grammar is older to Panini's. As i have written earlier Aindra Grammar
is probably the first grammar on sanskrit. In fact researches have
revealed that prior to Panini there were at least 23 Grammarians of
which if i remember correctly 6 have been named by Panini himself. The
book as i had mentioned earlier derives things out of Katantra.
Regards
Siddharth

Are there any subjects left for research in sanskrit with special reference to science ?
