Latin + Indic Font merging

[विश्वासो वासुकिजः (Vishvas Vasuki)]

Can someone merge all Noto Sans Indic and Latin fonts into a single functioning font?

I tried with https://github.com/indic-transliteration/sanskrit-fonts/blob/78efa356fdb2d00beea708a1b7441786d4474d6e/font_curation/__main__.py and failed - https://github.com/indic-transliteration/sanskrit-fonts/tree/78efa356fdb2d00beea708a1b7441786d4474d6e/fonts/ttf-misc/NotoSansLatIndic/variable-ttf 

Motivation 

managing font transitions in autogenerated (from md) latex files can be hairy - like -
