I like Vishwas’s idea, and I’m also working on a similar static website theme. One project you could try is creating a self-service static website that guides people to perform any pooja at home. Anyone can follow step-by-step instructions for simple poojas.
You can adapt this concept for any pooja vidhanam you are familiar with. Here’s an example project that provides a guide for performing Satyanarayana Vratam: https://github.com/padkri/satya-vratam/tree/main (WIP). You could add in-context meaning for slokas if you want to go one step further. There are multiple additional features to add. It is not necessarily research heavy.
