From a whatsapp forward:
Google Translate has now opened Sanskrit for contributions! This is the learning phase for Google Translate - it doesn't yet support Sanskrit translation but it accepts contributions from those of us who know the language even partially and in due course it would support actual Sanskrit translation!
Those who are proficient in Sanskrit can now contribute to Google's database and "knowledge" of Sanskrit. I have no doubt that our dream of seeing Sanskrit becoming accessible to all is soon going to turn into a reality!
To contribute:
1. Go to translate.google.com
2. Click on Contribute
3. Select Sanskrit as language
4. Contribute by either Validating or Writing your contribution of sentences shown.
