iOS stardict viewer app

Dear friends,

Ever since I started using an iphone, I have been struggling to find a good, free stardict viewer app. I need an app which allows user to specify the downloaded tar.gz file. After trying a few options available at Apple Store, I gave up.

Are there ios developers in this community who would be interested in developing this much needed tool? If we have such a tool, we can integrate indic-dict repository with it, the way stardict-dictionary-updater works in android world.

I have used Universal Dictionary for over 4 years when I had an iPhone. I had paid $1.99 for it then. Now it is $5.99. As an alternative, these could be explored for the iPhone.

I don't have an iOS device, but I'm using Dicty with all our dict files on iPadOS. It's free and can handle 10-s of dictionary files. It can't club results from all dictionaries.

I have Dicty on an iPhone and can confirm it works on iOS. However, because it can’t search across several dictionaries I tend to use is less than I would have otherwise.
