It gives me great pleasure to introduce to you all the following software developed by Shivakumari Katuri and me.

N.B. - Please be patient while the website loads the output. It usually takes 2-3 minutes to give output.

General information -
It is based on a rule based model as compared to paradigm based model of verb generators. Most of the verb form generators available online do not give the step by step derivation which is crucial for beginners in Sanskrit grammar.

This machine is an open source PHP code which derives Sanskrit verb forms from given verb with step by step derivation according to sahajabodha text book of Pushpa Dikshit.

It has been cross checked with Siddhantakaumudi partially. Still testing is ongoing. If you stumble upon some error, please flag an issue in Github link given above.

A sample derivation generated from machine for dhAtu bhU is attached in the zip file.

In applying the sUtra अतो दीर्घो यञि (७.३.१०१), you have not followed Pushpa Dixit, because she treats लृट् लकार as आर्धधातुक, whereas 7.3.101 is applicable only in case of सार्वधातुक.

During derivation, all the anuvRttis of a particular sUtra should be indicated, otherwise the matter is not clear.

Sir, her approach is very compatible with coding perspective. At one or two places, if the approach is wrong or not proper, we can take help of SK, Ashtadhyayi, kAzika etc.

Hints may be taken from any auxiliary or help books, but after all, quotes have to be from the Astadhyayi only (together with any vaartikas etc). As I indicated earlier, all the anuvRttis should be given, if not, then the complete meaning of the sUtra, otherwise the conditions under which a sUtra works will not be clear to a student. So far as SK is concerned, nobody can have inkling of anuvRttis. So, in general, I never use it.

It's good to see that Sanskrit NLP finally becomes open. Sanskrit computing is not new, there is a 20 year history. But it's Dhaval to open the code for the first time.

Right from कर्तृवाच्य कर्मवाच्य भाववाच्य there is "Mandatory field. Wait for ajax to load. " but if not chosen, I get a popup with text that says I should choose one. 

What is the difference? उपसर्गाःcontains all the attested possible combinations of prefixes?
