कायक्लेशेन महता पुरुषः प्राप्नुयात् फलम् ।

तत् सर्वं लभते नारी सुखेन पतिपूजया ॥
kāyakleśena mahatā puruṣaḥ prāpnuyāt phalam |
tat sarvaṃ labhate nārī sukhena patipūjayā ||
The fruits (of life) which a man achieves with a great deal of physical exertion, his wife achieves with ease merely by attending to the man, her husband. 

(It is said that half the religious or other merit acquired by a virtuous man automatically goes to a dutiful wife).
