कामः क्रोधश्च लोभश्च मोहो हर्षो मदस्तथा ।

षड्वर्गमुत्सृजेदेनं यस्मिंस्त्यक्ते सुखी नृपः ॥
kāmaḥ krodhaśca lobhaśca moho harṣo madastathā |
ṣaḍvargamutsṛjedenaṃ yasmiṃstyakte sukhī nṛpaḥ ||
Lust, wrath, greed, delusion, gloating and arrogance - reject this six-fold group ; when they are rejected the king would be in peace.
