to sanskrit-abhyasa-varga---muscat
कालः सदागतिरप स्थायीव परिचेष्टते ।
चण्डमारुतवद् विश्वम् अधरोत्तरयन् क्षणात् ॥
kālaḥ sadāgatirapa sthāyīva pariceṣṭate |
caṇḍamārutavad viśvam adharottarayan kṣaṇāt ||
Though time is ever-changing, it behaves as though it were fixed and unmoving ; (it behaves) like a powerful hurricane, turning the world topsy turvy in a moment.
