कालश्चालयति प्रायः पण्डितान् पामरानपि ।
तं चेच् चिकीर्षसि वशे तितिक्षैव महौषधम् ॥
kālaścālayati prāyaḥ paṇḍitān pāmarānapi |
taṃ cec cikīrṣasi vaśe titikṣaiva mahauṣadham ||
Time generally disturbs the equanimity both of scholars and of the common folk ; if you desire to bring it under control the great remedy is patience.
