to sanskrit-abhyasa-varga---muscat

कर्मेन्धनं यदज्ञानात् संचितं जन्मकानने ।

उपवासशिखी सर्वं तद्भस्मीकुरुते क्षणात् ॥

karmendhanaṃ yadajñānāt saṃcitaṃ janmakānane |

upavāsaśikhī sarvaṃ tadbhasmīkurute kṣaṇāt ||

The firewood that has been accumulated due to ignorance, from the forest of life, the fire of fasting reduces to ashes in a trice.
