to sanskrit-abhyasa-varga---muscat

कामः क्रोधस् तथा मोहस् त्रयोऽप्येते महाद्विषः ।

एके न निर्जिता यावत् तावत् सौख्यं कुतो नृणाम् ॥
kāmaḥ krodhas tathā mohas trayo'pyete mahādviṣaḥ |
eke na nirjitā yāvat tāvat saukhyaṃ kuto nṛṇām ||
Lust, wrath and delusion, these three are the foremost enemies ; till when these are vanquished, how can there be peace for men ?
