San Pietro Avellana mailing list moved to GoggleGroups

You should have received my email telling you that Yahoo! is shutting down their groups mailing list service on the 15th of December. This group will be replacing that mailing list.

Here is a short summary and instructions about the group. Besides a new email
address to send your questions and comments to, things should be pretty much the same.

This group is for the discussion of any topics relating to the Italian town of San Pietro Avellana. We expect there will mostly be discussions about genealogy of people from that town who have emigrated all over the world. You will see the town name abbreviated as SPA on this site.

Use this group to post messages containing:

1. questions about SPA

2. answers to those questions

3. research you are doing

Membership in this web site requires moderator approval.

Once you join the group, any emails sent to

will be automatically forwarded to all other members of the group. Messages from the group will have [SPA] prefaced to the message subject so you know that the message is from our group.
