The Organisation
The Vanuatu Skills Partnership (TVET) aims to better link skills development services to economic outcomes for participants within a nationally‐recognized system. In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Training, Skills Centres have been established in SANMA, MALAMPA, TORBA and TAFEA provinces. These Centres regularly engage Training Providers and Industry Coaches to deliver skill development services in response to priority areas of economic demand and small business growth.
The Position
The Partnership is now seeking Expressions of Interest from specialists in priority fields to join its Coaches and Trainers database for the delivery of short-term inputs.
Coaches and Trainers are required in the following high-demand fields:
- Outer Island Bungalows/Guest House Business Development and Housekeeping services
- Handicraft Product Quality and Business Development
- Agri-Tourism Product and Business Development
- Value Addition Product and Handicraft product label and swing tag designing
Essential Selection Criteria
► Certificate in Training & Assessment
► As above or equivalent
► 3 – 5 years experience
► Both Anglophone and Francophone citizens and residents with the legal right to work in Vanuatu
Desirable Selection Criteria
► Tourism (House Keeping & Accommodation Services)/Handicraft (Product quality and Business Development) Agribusiness (Value adding& Business Development)
► Stakeholder relations, staff management and leadership
► Sales, Marketing, product design and development skills
► Computing skills (e-mail, excel, word, PowerPoint, fb)
